JOAN SWIDER (Miss Joni)
Virginia Commonwealth University, Harriman College, Orange County Community College. Licensed and certified Musikgarten educator with a strong background in music and arts. Completed intensive training in curriculum and teaching methods for early childhood music education. Currently owner/teacher of Miss Joni’s Music Garden in Vail’s Gate NY. Former music teacher for numerous children's programs, head teacher for Creative Children Christian Preschool in Monroe NY, and head teacher for New Life Christian Preschool School in Cornwall NY. Professional guitarist, keyboard player and songwriter with over 25 years of experience in performance, and extensive expertise in group song leading for church worship as well as in music programs for both children and senior citizens.
